Nika Z. ...
NIKA ZORJAN
I would like to introduce you my good friend, a great singer and
performer the talented and beautiful Nika Zorjan.
I remember boring high school days, where
Nika always found a tune and tried to cheer us up, with her beautiful voice, therefore
so our days became more interesting and less boring. During high school days
she made many covers of many artists and performing on school events was on her
regular basis, so it was only a matter of time to rise and shine.
1 year ago she participated in a show called
Misija Evrovizija, in Germany they called it Star für Baku. The show was about
finding a representative for the Eurovision song contest. She reached the
finals but ended up as a second runner-up. The contest show was a breaking
point for her in her short musical career. She conquered the hearts of Slovenians with
her friendliness, modesty, beauty and real talent. After the show ended, a manager
scouted her and took her under his .She became the only one of the participants
to have released two singles and two music videos, which is for a small country
like Slovenia, a real success. Her singles went straight to number one, on some
radio stations in Slovenia and she has performed on numerous events all around
the country.
Performance on Misija Evrovizija
We could say she a mix of everything: an amazing voice, good looks and great
team behind her, who supports her. Slovenian medias compare her to the British
singer Jesse J., which is a huge compliment for her because Jesse J. , Christina
Aguilera and Beyonce are her favorite artists and role models.
She blew my mind with her new music video, where she looks like a real
Hollywood diva. When I look at her, I still can’t believe how she changed and
improved in those 2 years. We all know how hard is it to succeed in the music
industry, but Nika is on a good way to become the most popular singer in
Slovenia.
Besides enjoying in her beautiful voice you can even hear and get to know my mother tongue language.

Hello and Welcome..
Hy Guys
My name is Nicole,
I'm 21 years old and I come from a small town called Murska Sobota, Slovenia.
Let me tell you an interesting story about me. :) When I was five years old I and my family
moved to Graz, because my parents found better jobs opportunities in Austria.
We lived here for 3 years. I visited the Kindergarten and learned to speak
German fluently. Furthermore, my younger sister Nadine was also born here so I
kind of have many nice memories linked to Graz. When I turned 8, we moved back
home and I started going to primary school in Slovenia. The funny part is that
we lived in a flat near the Schillerplatz and ITAT, therefore I’ve passed our
university many times as a kid and who thought one day I would be a student of that University.
My German vocabulary is not as good, as it could be because I never
talked or used German at home. That’s why coming back to Graz and adapting to
it was hard, nevertheless my vocabulary has already improved during this one
year in Graz.
After graduating high school in 2011 I’ve decided to continue my
studies in Graz at the ITAT. My first choice was the capital Ljubljana and the
program International studies( languages and politics) but at the end Graz and the program Transcultural
Communication won. My foreign languages are German, English and
this semester I decided to start with Spanish. So I’m quite busy for now. :)
In my free time I like to watch
different movies and series in all kinds of languages. I like good music, good
food and a good book. :) My biggest
passion is travelling. I want to travel around the world one day. I already
have a map of places that I want to go to, maybe I’ll write a post about it.
